Can facebook and other social media cause revolution in Pakistan and all over the world??

“Ideas can be life-changing. Sometimes all you need to open the door is just one more good idea” very well said by  Jim Rohn and while thinking about facebook and its life changing impact in our lives this quote automatically occurred to me. No matter whether somebody is a teenager or someone who is a business man can share the things they find interesting  and statuses they come up with.

Problem is that what kind of impact it has in our life usually teenagers waste a lot of their time using facebook throughout the day chatting with friends and posting useless things and remain involved in activities that are absolutely useless and time consuming.

If we just see the impact of the video that was of a famous scholar Doctor Aamir liaqat Hussain how fast was that spread throughout the world just because of social networking and facebook I would  not go into the discussion that whether the video was real or fake but the ones who made that video used it very effectively.

The question that raises is that if facebook is so famous that everyone is using it  and people from all over Pakistan and world use it so frequently so can it cause a revolution in Pakistan?? I think yes it can.

You come to know the things that is happening all over the worlds through different pages and groups and one can share his ideas and can know about the different perspectives of people  that was not possible before this social media and if somebody wants to spread some news so that news gets spread all over world especially during the current situation you must have witnessed the current procession of Imran Khan which was very  successful and it was just because of the fact that they had been able to do enough publicity of the jalsa on facebook and other different community portals and they same way MQM is party that has got a large number of pages on facebook and they make ceratin videos and share it on facebook to attract the voters all over the Pakistan specially they try to highlight success of story their mayor Syed Mustafa kamal and besides that the former president Parvez Musharaf  is using his facebook page for his party APML and these three parties are mostly using it and some other parties are also switching towards it like PML N and PPP.

The major advantage is that you connect to several people at a time and convey your message and it is making people conscious about what is going on in the world and in their country and this thinking might convert into revolution very soon.
